Andy Burnham voted for the Iraq War, an illegal war that killed over a million people.
As Health Secretary, he helped drive NHS privatisation.
He joined Labour Friends of Israel, opposed BDS as “spiteful”, praised Israel as a “democracy”, and called the Balfour Declaration “British values in action”. He is a Zionist.
Stop pretending he’s a radical alternative, he’s more of the same.
@CobaltGreen1138@Moyer_the_Boyar So much thought went into the locations of this show. Just wish we could see more world building on this front across the other shows. The Volume is really killing off this kind of craft
@CobaltGreen1138@Moyer_the_Boyar He is, I’m just saying the choice to use Valencia with its white skimmed concrete and blue water is a really nice touch when you compare the dull brutalist style under-city. It just works well, and despite locations being 1000 miles apart, it’s a good bit of location work!
@Moyer_the_Boyar@CobaltGreen1138 I take your point, but in the prequels they used CG models of NYC in the background.
I think the use of gleaming white concrete, contrasted to the grey brutalist concrete of the Barbican in the poorer areas really adds depth & makes it feel more alive/real. Just imo
what stage of societal failure are we at when we reach the ‘disabled kids are responsible for potholes’ discourse i wonder, because it doesn’t seem like we should have allowed things to get here
Hi again @RachelReevesMP - I got this today from a young doctor from a low-income family. She can’t afford to buy a house because, while she’s paying back £2,560 in student loan repayments a year, you’re charging her interest at a rate of £7,800 a year.
Which part of this is “fair”?
In the least surprising defection ever, I'm delighted to welcome Suella Braverman to Reform. Her invaluable experience as a minister includes getting sacked from the same job twice and saying that being homeless is a “lifestyle choice”.
PS - The fact that the media was informed of the NEC decision before I was tells you everything you need to know about the way the Labour Party is being run these days.
You would think that over 30 years of service would count for something but sadly not. 🤷🏻♂️
Compare the language. Farage: ‘take issue with’, ‘object politely’, ‘not quite fair’. Starmer: ‘insulting, frankly appalling’, ‘I’d certainly apologise’. First real test and it’s Farage, not the PM, who proves the bootlicking coward unable to stand up to the anti-British bully.
citizen! at the rally you did not speak the standard greeting of “a-bosh!” but used the forbidden “baaaaaaaash” indicating support for proscribed guerrilla fighter big john you are now under arrest
