On 18th September @SimonHarrisTD promised to meet with myself and Stephen to discuss Harvey’s lack of care. 10 months on and that meeting never happened, and now Harvey is gone.
On the day we were celebrating Harvey’s short life and saying our final goodbyes, he was posting selfies at his brother’s wedding. The same brother that supposedly is the reason Harris sees disability issues as a ‘top priority’.
In actual fact, he doesn’t care at all. Couldn’t even take the time to meet us when we were begging for help. We will never have another moment of peace, and we endeavour to insure that anyone that failed Harvey doesn’t either. #JusticeForHarvey

“Excluded From RTE Debate”
Tomorrow night, Prime Time will be hosting the Dublin EU candidate debate. You would imagine that with only 8 spots available, it would be a balanced selection between independents and establishment candidates to give undecided voters a fair chance to get to know all the candidates. However, that’s not what happens.
RTE, in their wisdom, has given the first spots to the current MEPs (that’s three spots gone). The next four spots went to existing TDs, and the last spot to a candidate from the party with the most TDs. This means that although I’m high in the betting and polls, I won’t be allowed on the debate. As a result, you will have 8 candidates who have all been part of the government or opposition and are responsible for the mess we are in.
Three of them are already MEPs just looking to get their jobs back so they can disappear for another 5 years and do very little. Is this what we call democracy? There are other independents who received NO coverage whatsoever from the national broadcaster. How are people like me or other independents ever supposed to get elected to make changes when opportunities are only given to career politicians responsible for the current mess?
All 8 candidates on RTE tomorrow night are won’t use the word 'deportation,'
They all encouraged the immigration crises.
They all encouraged and played a role in the housing crises for five years.
They asked you to remove 'mother,' 'woman,' and 'family' from the constitution and vote YES.
They all want hate speech laws.
They all support part or all of the EU migration pact.
They are all climate alarmists willing to throw farming to the wolves, and none of them can define the word 'woman.' Need I go on?
There is no opposition to these elite 8. Nothing will change when RTE is part of maintaining the status quo.
Bottom line, although I’m predicted to be in the top 4 I’m excluded from the debate and candidates down the bottom with no chance will be on because they already have a TDs job.
Not just me but other independents will not see the inside of the RTE on the important Dublin Debate.

Dear Sir,

We are writing to you on behalf of the Irish Freedom Party, Ireland First, National Party and The Irish People, who are all political parties fully registered with the Electoral Commission. These parties have a large number of candidates contesting both the European and Local elections nationwide.

We wish to inform you that RTE is in serious breach of the updated Rule 27 of the Code of Fairness, Objectivity and Impartiality in News and Current Affair as can be seen clearly from the Guidelines in Respect of Coverage of Election recently issued by Coimisiún na Meán.

We believe this ongoing breach is malicious with the objective of subverting the election process by the removal of our parties and candidates perspectives from RTEs coverage of the election. The result of this is to make our political views, perspectives, parties and candidates invisible to the general public and hence the electorate. We have not had this problem with regional or International broadcasters (e.g. EuroNews, Dutch Radio 1): this is a national broadcaster problem i.e. an RTE problem. This is outrageous and an attempt to subvert the outcome of these elections by hiding our candidates, parties and perspectives from the electorate. Not one of our European or Local candidates or Party representatives have been invited to a debate, panel discussion or ANY RTE radio or Television program, nor has there been any coverage of our parties or candidates online or via social media. We have received collectively ZERO coverage from the national broadcaster RTE.

Under the guidelines of Section 4.2 Allocation of Airtime for Election Candidates and Political Parties, broadcasters, including RTE, are mandated to ensure a fair allocation of airtime during election coverage. This can be achieved either through an equal allocation of airtime for all candidates and political parties, or, through a proportional approach that considers relevant contextual factors. However, RTE has consistently failed to adhere to either method in relation to our parties and candidates.

Key contextual factors that have been ignored include:

1.   Number of Candidates: One of our parties has fielded a significantly higher number of candidates compared to other parties that have received more airtime. Despite this, we have been systematically excluded from ANY coverage.

2.   Diversity of Political Perspectives: The guidelines also emphasise the importance of reflecting a broad range of political perspectives. Our stances, particularly on issues such as asylum and immigration, aligns closely with the concerns demonstrated in recent opinion polls. However, our views, which significantly differ from those of other parties, have been consistently marginalised and hidden from the electorate.

The exclusion of our parties, candidates and perspectives not only breaches the guidelines but also undermines the democratic process by depriving the public of a comprehensive understanding of all political positions. We demand immediate corrective action from RTE and other broadcasters to ensure compliance with the guidelines and to provide equitable and fair airtime to our parties and candidates.

In the European debates only 8 candidates were allowed due to space restrictions the public were informed, however RTE could platform 15 candidates for the Mayoral election in Limerick.

The breaches are not limited to section 4.2 but also extend to 4.3 Diversity of Viewpoints & 4.4 Audience Participation....

So another green loopy policy comes into effect. You now pay a deposit on any drink in a plastic bottle. Then instead of putting my empty plastic bottle in my recycle bin, I have to drive to the shop, to put it in a plastic deposit machine what I would have normally put into my recycling bin. Seems very environmentally ridiculous. So all the cars now driving to the shop to return the bottles using more fuel, the thousands of recycling bottle machines left plugged in all day using electricity and for what benefit? The Crazy loopy greens, they never cease to amaze me with their stupidity.

So I've had a green bin for years and use it religiously. Putting things in the green bin is easy and environmentally friendly.

However, from this week I will be financially penalised by the Government if I don't drive my car the five miles into town to recycle bottles.
