@BDuchek I ran them on fd 140s, they are well worth the money. I never had much issue with them riding over. Only remember breaking one, they are durable.
@embdenhaymaker Do you have a spinner knob on your steering wheel? R4045 would do the same thing, my dad finally figured out the weight of it when it was shaking would move the wheel just enough if it was on the side or on top to disengage
@ChuckWeinknecht @stinkynutss I don’t see that with my 8800/45’. In decent crops always power is limiting factor. I adjust loss sensors to actual losses and Cemos adjusts accordingly. Can’t comment on the x9 though, haven’t seen a demo
@willmuller3 I have belts, run them a little tighter than the book says. If you jump one you should loosen all the slat bolts off, rotate a few times then tighten them back up to get all lined up. I’d take belts any day, I feel they can handle rocks better
@BDuchek Mines got a pile of acres on it, never any downtime. The square edges on the carbide are nice with full down pressure, they can move some dirt around. Rolling hills it contours fairly well. When mines due for upgrade I’ll buy the same thing again
@T_Bartman@deep_seeder Pea auger parts, center canvas drive motor and roller were hard to come by, several other small things. Also my dealer was limited on FD2s they could order
@T_Bartman@deep_seeder Poor MD parts availability this past fall was one of the main reasons for switching. Lots of in cab adjustments is nice, I think MD would contour better in rolling hills and draws, but we’re fairly flat so not a big concern for me. I didn’t try an FD2
@T_Bartman@deep_seeder I demoed a 40’ Convio last fall, currently use fd140’s. Tall green green canola, the Convio was very impressive. Far better feeding tall bushy canola than the MD. Ended up trading to Convio’s
