Sadly, our twinning visit has come to an end. Yesterday, our Jordanian guests visited our Chairperson's house where they saw how Irish homes are set up for children with haemophilia. In the evening, we enjoyed a tour of Trinity College Dublin, and a lovely meal to say goodbye.

Our online pilates and physio classes for members start back in September.

👉Pilates starts back September 6th for a term of 6 weeks
There will be no pilates class September 20th and there will be no physio class October 31st.

👉 Tuesday: Physio class for adult male members with @mcgowamj. Zoom 7-8pm
👉 Wednesday: New pilates class for all adult members with @CarlyBlackbu00. Initially these classes run for 6 weeks (we are in the second week). Zoom from 7-8pm

Our new pilates classes are starting next Wednesday 26th April, from 7pm-8pm. These online classes are free and open to all over 18s members of the I.H.S. To sign up for the classes or for more information, please call the office on 01 657 9900.
This resulted in @HaemophiliaIRL establishing a weekly physiotherapy/exercise programme with @mcgowamj and @sheilsroc for men with haemophilia. Weekly sessions now running for almost 3 years. Level of satisfaction is high with 75% benefitting a great deal or a lot 2/2
In my talk @EHC_Haemophilia Liver health webinar, I mentioned the Irish IPATH research on physical activity in PWH led by @mekennedypt which showed that 64.4% PWH in the study were overweight or obese and deficiencies in amount of physical activity 1/2
