If you ever come across some MAGA morons that say Democrats and Nancy Pelosi were the ones who orchestrated the January 6th insurrection (which happened to me twice today), ask them this very simple question:
Why would Nancy Pelosi, or any Democrat, orchestrate an insurrection to STOP the certification of an election THEIR CANDIDATE WON?
I hung in hoping I wouldn’t have to walk away from my almost 5k followers, gained through a lot of tweeting. But something about the name change really bothers me. Twitter was a successful brand pre-EM. He now calls this “X” but I have to ask Y? Why stay?
It is not schadenfreude if you are overjoyed that Trump is about to be held accountable for all his gross and in plain sight criminality. Georgia is coming for Trump.
@marla_vous Ask one question before you mindlessly vote for a Republican, how is this person helping you in your life? The answer 99/100 times with Republicans is they ARE NOT!
Once again Republicans are trying to steamroll over the will of the people and upend decades of precedent — the right of Ohioans to propose constitutional amendments.
Abortion rights supporters followed the painstaking process of collecting the hundreds of thousands of signatures necessary to put a pro-choice referendum on the November ballot.
So what did Republican lawmakers do?
Knowing that the majority of Ohioans want abortion rights to be enshrined into state law, they came up with their own ballot initiative, Issue 1, that if ratified, would make it nearly impossible to implement the very process that holds lawmakers accountable if they ignore the will of the people.
To ensure they would have a lower voter turnout, they put Issue 1 in an August 8th special election —3 months BEFORE the November election.
Under current rules, the referendum requires a simple majority vote to win. If passed, the threshold for referendums would increase to 60% AND require signatures from every county in Ohio— 88 instead of 44. 1 county out of 88 could derail the petition before it gets on the ballot.
Issue 1 is so bad that 4 former governors and 5 former Ohio attorneys general oppose it.
Voting “no” on Issue 1 is not only a vote to make sure that voters get to decide whether to protect abortion rights in November — it’s a vote to uphold democracy and protect majority rule.

Notice how essentially nobody in Washington asks “if we can afford” an $886 billion defense budget?
No, we only hear that when we need health care, or student debt relief, or climate action, or paid family leave, or universal pre-K, or child-poverty relief.
The majority of Ohio voters support protecting abortion rights by amending the state constitution.
#NoOnIssue1
So OH Republicans are supporting issue 1, a ballot proposal to raise the threshold for passing future changes to the Ohio Constitution from a simple majority to 60%.
Only ONE Ohio Republicann voted to protect access to birth control, and state Rep. Jean Schmidt says 𝘀𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗯𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲𝘀 after Roe was overturned.
Ohio, 𝙫𝙤𝙩𝙚 𝙉𝙊 𝙤𝙣 𝙄𝙨𝙨𝙪𝙚 1!!!
Elon is so full of it when he declares he is creating a free speech platform. Immediately censors a legitimate advertisement he doesn’t like. What hypocrisy.
A world about PAF (Progress Action Fund) and that amazing Ohio Issue 1 ad that was banned on Twitter. We believe it was targeted by the Right and suppressed with Elon’s help.
PAF (Progress Action Fund) produces ads 30 seconds or less that are sharp and hard hitting to help Dems in tight races. They started a Twitter account as soon as the ad went viral. The ad was banned and their Twitter account was shadow banned after only a few days. You can show them support by giving them a follow at their newest account @banned_by_elon
You might remember this previous ad made by PAF for the Georgia run offs.
In 1997, we reached a deal to fully fund the WIC program so that all eligible families who applied could receive critical nutrition assistance. Under the current House bill, hundreds of thousands of newborns, young children, and postpartum mothers would be turned away, and millions more would have their benefits cut. We must continue the long-standing commitment to this program and provide the necessary funding. https://t.co/VNoW6hI7Ff
Hey MAGA Republicans at the #TrumpRally. Donald Trump is using donor money meant for his campaign as his personal piggy bank. And lots of it!
Former President Trump blew through over $40 million of PAC donations on legal fees this year for himself. Trump also requested a $60 million refund from the Super PAC supporting him, as he burned through cash meant to help his campaign.
Donald Trump is campaigning despite facing indictments in two jurisdictions, and soon, there might be a third. Additionally, he is covering the legal expenses of several witnesses closely associated with him or working for him.
Special Counsel Jack Smith and Merrick Garland at the DOJ, your prosecutors might want to look into this potential conflict of interest. Is this unlawful?
A woman was forced to carry a baby, missing much of its skull, for months just to bury it.
Some women had fatal fetal anomalies and yet were still denied abortions.
Some women had their water break too soon and were turned away from hospitals.
A 10-year-old rape victim forced to carry a rapist's fetus has to travel out of state for a medical procedure.
A teenager begging a court to allow her to have an abortion because she wants to stay in school was told she wasn't mature enough for an abortion.
A woman sent home to miscarry delivers a dead baby in a hair salon toilet.
Women and girls are fucking suffering. Nothing about this human suffering is pro-life.
The suffering must end in 2024! #FreshVotesBlue
Guy at the Trump rally today says he is there to “guarantee” that Trump gets back in the WH. When asked what he thinks about the globalists and RINOs it sounds like he says “kill them all.” Interviewer then says, “I agree with you.“
