Few things ruin a great match faster than wondering whether an opponent earned the win or saw you through a wall.
Wallhacks give cheaters information they were never meant to have. With Modern Warfare 4, we’re introducing a new way to fight back: Server Culling.
Here’s how it works:
@ripyard Personally i’d probably never touch PvE, it’s not for me. But i don’t think that means a separated PvE mode should not be an option for those that want it.
PvE clearly works in extraction shooters.
Tarkov added an entire PvE mode.
Helldivers 2 built its extraction loop around PvE.
ARC Raiders is using matchmaking to accommodate less aggressive players.
Marathon is adding permanent PvE.
DMZ adding PvE alongside PvPvE really doesn’t seem that crazy anymore.
Just keep the progression separate.
At this point, is there actually a good reason NOT to give DMZ players a PvE option?
Marathon is about to become a VERY different game. 👀
The Symbiosis update arrives December 8 with:
🟢 Permanent PvE
⚔️ Experimental Team Deathmatch
🗺️ Perimeter overhaul
👑 Tick Queen encounter
🤖 New Bishop Runner
🏠 Social space + firing range
🌱 Improved onboarding
This might be the update Marathon needs.
@insanegamer52 Ya i was having a good time but there was still just something missing for me to stay attached. It also didn’t hit well with the majority of gamers making i hard to play with friends.
@insanegamer52 Played a ton and it was actually a game i had waited years for. Was sad how it launched but am still optimistic and hopeful for its future.
ARC Raiders is giving players WAY too much power with this one. 😳
The new Tether Launcher lets you connect players, ARC, and objects together.
You can literally tether an enemy Raider to an ARC.
The trolling potential is unbelievable.
ARC Raiders is finally getting an early-game alternative to the Renegade. 👀
The Stiletto uses LIGHT ammo and is built for medium-to-long range fights.
Apparently it’s best against ARC, but can still hold its own against players.
This might be my new early-game go-to.
