@monarch_money when did you decide to start training models on users data? I was more then a bit surprised to see this as a setting that I could opt out of instead of opt in. I was even more surprised that I could not find an email or in app announcement that this was coming.

@GKedzierski@fireship_dev Prometheus is pretty sweet. It's a far stretch from being called a DDog replacement, but it's been my most common piece of OSS software for the better of 7 years now
@thekitze Meanwhile on Twitter a majority of new follows + engagement is from bots. I thought turning off the API was a way to mitigate that, at least for Twitter?
@ChrisShort@claco@cloudnull@fig Ah great to see it's easy to turn off as well, thanks for sharing. FWIW this was ~2 years ago and I can't remember if it was that easy to turn off or not.
@claco@ChrisShort@cloudnull Answered my own question: Yes it does https://t.co/4J0MPsILIw
I'm grateful to be away from the VM world again, but this was a blocker last time I used it. I wasn't going to use my side terminal for remote access 😅
@claco@ChrisShort@cloudnull Does warp still install scripts on machines you ssh into? Previous companies security tooling got all worked up over it and I had little interest in using it after that. I understand the intent, but that and the telemetry collected turned me off
🚀 Exciting news* from the Pyroscope team!
Were mid grafana-hackathon and testing a feature using GPT-4 to analyze flamegraphs 👀
Check out the blog to see the new feature in action and get instructions on how to try yourself. We'd love your feedback!

I don't usually do this - any ex-VMWare k8s folk looking for a new home? We (@grafana) not only deploy our cloud product on some pretty massive k8s clusters but are starting to base lots of our products on k8s api machinery...
Hiring remotely, almost anywhere in the world.

@Kuqd@vainikkaj Sorry, it's been many months since I've logged into twitter and just saw this. It's something built from a hackathon internally. I'm writing a post on it now that dives into it, but the short of it is it's built upon prometheus metrics collected from OpenCost.
@vainikkaj@tom_wilkie@grafana It's been many months since I've logged into Twitter, thank you for the shout out Tom!
@vainikkaj, I've had a few false starts on writing up a blog post, but I promise it's in the works. Will let you know when it's live!
@GergelyOrosz Heh, I have one of my domains up for renewal _next week_ and they've been sending me weekly reminders about it! Nothing in there noting I should consider migrating elsewhere.
