That’s not true. If it doesn’t match and goes to human review they will send out a notice to cure to the voter. There’s a lot of voters that have decades old signature cards. I always recommend everyone in California update their card every few years. Signatures change overtime.
This is why it takes forever. The only argument election deniers have have is election officials are corrupt. That’s literally it. That will vary by jurisdiction for obvious reasons.
If you mail everyone a ballot, what’s your proposal beyond sig matching for by mail ballots? And btw they cross match information to register. Last 4 of SSN or drivers license number which they cross match government data bases to verify eligibility. If you want to have an in person voting policy, I get it but that requires major law changes.
The election denier retards always latch on to this. I’m shocked anyone thinks Pratt would have a chance in November. Same goes for Hilton, the math simply doesn’t work. Listen, I’d love change in LA and California (I actually live in California), but I’m not new to this and know how this works.
@TahraHoops In fairness lots of LA residents come and go from. Santa Monica, and if you look at the city map it’s all cut up on the west side. So lines get blurry and you need to cast a wide net.
It’s funny to me that people think Pratt has a chance in November anyway. Are people really this new to California politics? I’ll help you here, Pratt and Hilton have zero percent chance in a November runoff. You can cope and cry all you want about rigged elections but you’re just wasting brain cycles.
@ksorbs Wait is this in reference to a states election where you don’t even reside? Get a grip, California has been slow to count ballots for years, this isn’t random or new.
@Avabelly__ So you spent $500 on dinner and were “happy “ you had a few extra bucks to toss your servers way????? This is clear rage bait. This didn’t happen.
@GerberKawasaki This is not uncommon. You’d be surprised at the number of people that aren’t registered at all. This is old news and nothing new in California.
