Got tired of Microslop's junk. Mac puts a $$$$ on their devices because they "sync" with their laptops/desktops/tablets/phones, yet I've never seen more problems than what my mom has encountered.
Yeah, I'm team Linux, but I've tested everything else and can't see a better way.
I hope to post more on here. Now that I finally took the time to toss this platform on my "new" laptop.
Newly imaged, Debian 13, on a refurb Dell 5490 with 16GB of RAM. Older, but a solid, repairable platform.
Honestly, I'll take slow old tech any day. Slows me down and makes me truly "want" to research, code, etc. If it isn't worth the time to load, then it really wasn't worth looking into....
The first week as a software developer was insanely overwhelming. I felt so lost, hard to process what was shown to me, & curious if I'd ever get it.
2nd week has me more relaxed, comfortable with figuring things out, & I'm understanding more and more.
New devs, you got this!
