Eagles make history with weird tradition. Scientists are buzzing after a set of trail camera images appeared to show something researchers almost never expected to document in the wild: bald eagles passing down a learned behavior. Last year, cameras captured a massive bull moose traveling through the forest with two adult eagles perched calmly on his antlers, riding for miles as if it was normal. At first, experts thought it was just a bizarre one-time moment, but after reviewing months of footage, they noticed the same pair returning again and again. The strange relationship seemed to help both sides. The eagles scared off insects and smaller scavengers bothering the moose, while the moose gave them a moving lookout tower through thick summer brush.

But the image that shocked everyone came nearly two years later. The same moose was seen walking toward the camera, only this time there were three eagles on his antlers: the two adults and their now-grown juvenile standing between them. Researchers believe the young eagle may have learned the behavior by watching its parents, a discovery that could suggest these birds are capable of recognizing patterns, remembering useful partnerships, and passing habits down in a way scientists rarely associate with wild raptors. What started as one strange trail camera photo has now become something much bigger, a possible glimpse into how much more is happening in the animal world when nobody is watching.

The attempt to sabotage a photographer’s chances ended up creating the most memorable image of his career.

Everyone at the regional zoo photography competition knew he was the favorite. Year after year, his elephant photographs stood out, and he had earned a reputation for being one of the friendliest people there, always gracious even when others hoped someone else would finally take the top prize.

So when a zoo insider quietly helped a competing friend, they thought they had found the perfect way to stop him. He was assigned the worst elephant viewing slot of the day, a time when the elephants were usually resting and inactive. Since his winning images often showcased their strength, movement, and personality, it seemed like a guaranteed disadvantage. He realized exactly what was happening, but instead of arguing or complaining, he simply picked up his camera and headed in as if nothing had changed.

When he arrived, he found an elephant peacefully resting among a pile of old tires, completely still, with a small butterfly perched on its trunk. Rather than trying to force a dramatic shot, he patiently waited. Moments later, the elephant opened its eyes and awkwardly crossed them to look at the butterfly sitting inches from its face.

The result was one of the funniest and most unexpected wildlife photographs anyone at the event had ever seen. 😂

The image went on to win the competition and quickly spread far beyond it, becoming a reminder that sometimes the obstacle meant to hold you back ends up leading directly to your greatest opportunity.

NBC News is reporting that the Pentagon has now listed Israel as a TOP national security threat facing the United States!

This is a HUGE development of historic proportions. For the Pentagon, Netanyahu‘s attempt to take over the US military/intelligence systems, via the 2027 NDAA was the straw that broke the camels back.

‼️🛑I honestly hate to say it, but Thomas Massie is literally putting his life on the line. And I actually believe he knows this quite well.

It makes his stance even more heroic.

His decision to commemorate the Israeli attack on the USS Liberty on its 59th Anniversary, after having been defeated by Jewish money in Congress, is the single most courageous move I have ever seen a sitting American politician make during my lifetime.

It's a stuck up middle finger against 'Israel' and all it stands for, for the following reasons:

💥 the deliberate murder of American servicemen in plain sight by the Israeli air force is solidly proven, which means that the Ziønist influencers have zero arguments to present to counter it;

💥 he is doing it without this being in any way 'necessary', or 'called for', as 58 anniversaries have already passed unnoticed and unmentioned;

💥 he will have actual survivors from the attack present, which is a feature one can thing bring nothing up against;

💥 the effect of this act of insurgency is bound to create powerful ripples on social media, even if mass media try to ignore or downplay it.

Many liberals on the Democrat side will remain silent. Most of those are on the 'has the right to exist and defend itself' boat anyway. Which, I should take another opportunity to say, is utterly fucked up anyway.

Some of them will nevertheless get a powerful wake-up call, and realize that standing up against oppression takes precedence and priority over ideological differences in this time frame.

The main effect however, will take place on the Republican side. For most Republicans, the army is sacrosanct. Many of them have never heard of the USS Liberty tragedy. Many will truly be shaken to the core.

All I can do is pray for Thomas Massie.

And here is what I would say to him if I could see him face to face: "Massie, this is the courageous act of a real man, a true patriot, and a genuine revolutionary. You are a Lion among men. May God be with you."

A 24-year-old Polish tennis player arrived in Paris last week ranked 114th in the world, with no sponsors, no guaranteed income, and no certainty she could even pay for her hotel room.

She had to win three qualifying matches just to enter the French Open main draw. Prize money is only paid at the end of the tournament, so a Polish sports drink brand quietly stepped in and covered her hotel bill.

Her name is Maja Chwalinska. And today, she plays in the French Open final.

Before this tournament, she had won exactly one Grand Slam main draw match in her entire career. She had battled depression so severe that in 2021 she couldn't get out of bed. She underwent knee surgery in 2022. She spent years grinding through small tournaments across Europe just to stay afloat.

Then she arrived in Paris, won three qualifiers, and kept winning. Zheng Qinwen. Elise Mertens. Maria Sakkari. Diana Shnaider. Nine straight matches. One set dropped.

She is now the first qualifier in French Open history to reach the final. The last time a qualifier reached a Grand Slam final, it was Emma Raducanu at the 2021 US Open. Raducanu won.

By simply making the final, Chwalinska has earned more prize money than her entire career combined. The runner-up cheque alone is $1.6 million. If she wins today, she takes home $3.25 million.
