@pb4lchat We found that you need to be flexible with scope and sequence and teach different expectations as they arise. We made a PBL video of students performing different expectations. We also have a fortnightly Film Club where students report on different expectations and anything PBL.
@pb4lchat We have a scope and sequence as well as lesson plans for K-6. All staff can access via a google drive and it’s communicated to all staff what the expectation is for that week by our principal.
@pb4lchat We use our data and teacher feedback to identify if there is impact. If the PBL team feel that it needs reteaching then we continue that expectation the following week.
@pb4lchat Our school is fairly new in our PBL journey but we have used our data to identify which areas are requiring more explicit teaching of expectations and times throughout the day where challenging behaviours are occurring the most.
@pb4lchat The PBL team met and discussed school wide expectations across all settings. We spoke to staff for their input and from that we created a scope and sequence of which expectations were to be taught first.
