@johnharris1969 @jemgilbert As parent to 2 autistic kids, one of whom cannot even access school, & the other who, after a 2 year absence, can now access (only) a highly specialised place, both of whom were failed & traumatised by mainstream education, this is utterly despicable. Here's K.Badenoch, who thinks an autism diagnosis entails "economic advantages and protections". She also queries providing school transport for autistic kids & has no idea what neurodiversity/divergence are, and why they have abs nothing to do with, say, anxiety. Pls retweet

Today's Covid Inquiry says the pandemic would have been significantly worse if it wasn't for the "individual efforts and dedication" of carers.
