I am deeply saddened by the horrific and cold-blooded murder of two Israeli Embassy staff members in Washington, D.C. earlier this week. This senseless act of hate is a painful reminder of the threats our community continues to face, and we must remain vigilant, united, and resolute in combatting antisemitism. Acts of hate and terror have no place in our society and must be met with zero tolerance and the full force of the law, wherever and whenever they occur.

@ChesedShelEmes ensured the victims were treated with full dignity in accordance with Jewish law, and we are especially grateful to @AGPamBondi for her support and exceptional leadership during this terrible tragedy. Her immediate action and personal dedication to ensuring respect and justice for the victims did not go unnoticed. We also thank @SenRickScott for his vital assistance and for always speaking out forcefully against hatred and standing strong in the fight against antisemitism—including through his leadership of the @SenateAging, which has remained a firm voice against antisemitism in all its forms. We extend our sincere appreciation to the @DCPoliceDept as well for their swift and respectful cooperation.
