Absolutely legendary stuff from @lindseyvonn. Right there with @RonnieLottHOF's finger and @gehrig38's bloody sock.
Put it on a poster: "My head is high, I'm standing tall, and I'm gonna do my best, and whatever the result is, that's what it is. But never say I didn't try.” LFG. 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
NEW: American skier Lindsey Vonn completes Olympic downhill training run after completing tearing her ACL last week.
The 41-year-old says she is going to stick with her plan of skiing at the Olympics despite her crash on January 30.
“It's only been a few days. So if you're looking at it scientifically, you don't lose strength that quickly,” she said a few days after the crash.
“So as long as my swelling is down, my muscles are firing, my strength is what it was a few days ago.”
“I have not deviated from my plan. I've been determined.”
“My head is high, I'm standing tall, and I'm gonna do my best, and whatever the result is, that's what it is. But never say I didn't try.”
@JakeSherman For the record, I think @SpeakerJohnson gets there a lot easier than many think, especially since Trump has leaned in so heavily. But man, if he doesn't, gonna be a loooooong January...
This pick is making conservatives very nervous.
Congresswoman Chavez-DeRemer was one of just three Republicans to vote for the PRO Act - the Protect the Right To Organizing Act.
Tonight, the National Education Association (NEA) — the largest union in the country — released a statement acknowledging her pro-labor record.
The NEA statement included the fact that she voted against school vouchers and cuts to Department of Education.
Even Randi Weingarten said the other day that appointing Chavez-DeRemer would be a “significant appointment for Trump to make.”
If she loses some Republican support, I could see *SOME* Democrats in the Senate voting to confirm her if needed.
Certainly positive for Harris that she's up by +3, and you'd rather be leading that not, but just a gentle reminder that Hillary led the national polls by almost +6 at this same time in '16.
The latest New York Times/Siena College polls:
National: Harris+3 - her best showing in a Times/Siena poll this cycle
Texas: Trump+6
Florida: Trump+13

Last Friday, Ferox Principal @markrwill joined @KatieMcCallTV on @NEWSMAX's National Report to discuss Vice President Harris and the upcoming presidential debate. Williams asserted that Harris is trying to become something that she does not have the track record to support. He stated that in order for former President Trump to win the debate, he must continue to define Harris now and who she was in the past. However, he noted that Harris is currently in a better position because of leads in polling and funding.

Joining the conversation on @NEWSMAX, we're diving into last night's VP Harris interview on CNN. Was it a missed opportunity for clarity or a goldmine for campaign critiques? Probably a little of both. Thanks to @ShaunKraisman and @EmmaRechenberg for having me on! #VPHarris #CNNInterview #Election2024
@mkhammer@LPDonovan@VictorinoMatus Go look at DJT Jr. twitter feed. Very Vance heavy. The bread crumbs have been there for a while. Would really surprised if it wasn't.
