Let's be clear, @Keir_Starmer has zero interest in defence, despite his big words on threats to the nation.
And while previous governments are also responsible for this dire situation, the current government has no intention of fixing it.

The Royal Navy has a long history of building Floating Dry Docks to maintain the Fleet around the world. In the 1869, the world’s largest floating Dry Dock was towed across the Atlantic to Bermuda to support the Ironclads which at the time was the largest ever built. 🧵1/3

#OnThisDay (30/31 May 1942) RAF Bomber Command executed Operation Millennium against #Cologne - the first "1,000-bomber" raid. Dropping 1,478 tonnes of ordnance, the raid destroyed over 12,000 buildings and caused widespread civilian displacement.
