The current Government refuses to properly invest in our national security and our Armed Forces. Then it uses the Army to perform a publicity stunt like this. I'm sorry, but if the current Government wants to be taken seriously, it needs to do better. Much better.

After being recovered near St Julien in 2021, the remains of a British soldier have been identified through DNA analysis as Lance-Corporal Claude Stanley Dell of the Yorkshire Regiment.

Today he was laid to rest at Poelcapelle British Cemetery in the presence of his relatives.
