No debate on genocide at @Sydney_Uni: multiple UN, academic & NGO authorities have found Israel guilty of genocide, but that's not good enough for USyd. Today, it told us not to even debate the question on our internal staff platform. A free pass for genocide denial. A travesty.
I have never heard of a country invading a neighbor and then calling it unfair that their soldiers died in that invasion. I don’t think any other country ever even thought to make that complaint.
On top of that, Israel now wants to retaliate for its soldiers being killed while invading their neighbor.
This is pure madness. Just leave Lebanon.
This sums up the mentality of the warmongering class
"only the aggregation of advanced allied and partner military capabilities can maintain regional stability and deterrence"
'Only'
So there is no other possible pathway for peace & prosperity between nations?
🤦♂️
Do you remember 'All Eyes on Rafah'?
This is what Rafah looks like now, 2 years later. The IDF invaded Rafah in June 2024 and systematically destroyed everything that sustained life.
"Israel" is incompatible with humanity.
About the rape of the Australian women on the Sumud Flotilla--

@SenatorWong
He didn't say "Arab" as per the headline, he said "non-Jewish women"
A very dangerous new nightmare we are living in Gaza City, and no one in the world is paying attention to it.
Days ago, the Israeli army installed huge military cranes, each about 30 meters tall, on the eastern areas it controls. These cranes are equipped with machine guns and cameras, and they fire randomly and almost continuously at tents, streets, and exposed neighborhoods.
Gaza City is extremely narrow, only 10 kilometers wide. A single crane at that height is enough to expose the entire city from east to west. Every street, every square, every tent, every house has become completely exposed. There is no place to hide, and not a single moment of safety.
In just the past two days, three people were killed by fire from these cranes. One of them was sitting quietly with his father in a small café, trying to breathe for a few minutes. Hours later, a 5year old girl was killed while playing near her home.
These cranes have turned the entire city into an open field. The latest military technologies are directed at civilians. We have become an open testing ground for their new weapons. The horror is not just in the sound… it is the constant feeling of being an exposed target at all times, where even children cannot run in the street without fear.
Palestine Football Association Statement
The Palestine Football Association (PFA) has taken note of recent media reports regarding an alleged planned match between Palestine and Israel U-15 national teams.
We state clearly and unequivocally that the PFA has not received any official communication or proposal from FIFA regarding such a match. FIFA has also confirmed to us that no such match has been announced or organized, and that these reports are inaccurate.
Our position is firm and unchanged. Under the current circumstances, the PFA categorically rejects any attempt to promote or impose matches with an occupying power that systematically targets Palestinian athletes and sports infrastructure. We refuse to be part of any initiative that serves as sportswashing while Palestinian players continue to face daily violations.
Over the past three years alone, more than 1,000 Palestinian athletes have been killed including Sulaiman Al-Obaid the former national team captain and Nagham Abu Samra the karate champion. This reality cannot be ignored or separated from any discussion about football activities involving Palestine.
For the PFA, the priority is clear: justice, accountability, and the protection of Palestinian athletes in line with FIFA statutes and the principles of the Olympic Charter. We continue to call for Israel to be held accountable for its violations of international sporting regulations.
Football cannot exist in isolation from the reality on the ground. Our focus remains on defending our players, our game, and our fundamental rights.
We urge all media outlets to rely on verified and official sources and to refrain from spreading misleading information.

It’s even more crazy how Iran fired thousands of “cheap” drones and missiles at several countries from thousands of miles away but not once accidentally hit a school, a university or a hospital.
It’s almost like their goal was defense & deterrence -not terror & ethnic cleansing.
