With the Olympics now upon us, you might be interested in watching the new documentary I produced & directed about Cuba's greatest athlete, Alberto Juantorena. It's called Running for the Revolution, and it's out next week: https://t.co/M9CONStkvv
@RunningfortheR1 Fresh back from our final trip to Cuba to shoot the end scene and record some music.
Alberto Juantorena is in fine form.
It's been a long journey, but 2020 will be the year it's finally released. Please follow us on Facebook:

Today I want to big up Roberto 'Chile' Perez - esteemed Cuban photographer and cinematographer - who I am thrilled to be working with on Running for the Revolution, my documentary on Olympic great Alberto Juantorena.
Check out this interview with him:

It's 20 years since the very first 'Stopwatch Production' - a doc on athlete Iwan Thomas called 'Second is Nowhere'.
I'm now back to the track again, this time telling the story of one of the greatest Olympic athletes ever, Alberto Juantorena - 'Running for the Revolution'.
Stars of Mission Control: GENE CERNAN
The late and much missed Captain Cernan traveled into space on Gemini 9A, Apollo 10 and as commander of Apollo 17. He is the subject of the acclaimed doc @LastManOnMoon.
@Arthurvw1986 Really enjoyed tonight's show. My granddad was a Sunderland Flying Boat pilot in 209 Sqn based at Oban during WW2, and I realise now I must make a pilgrimage. Thank you.
Very sad to hear that Alan Bean, Apollo astronaut passed away this morning.
I had the pleasure to meet and interview him on several occasions, and loved how passionate and committed he was to his art.
He leaves a fabulous legacy as a space pioneer as well as an artist.
Tip of the week... this short course taking place soon at the Crouch End Picturehouse, Nth London.
Carol Nahra is a great speaker and knows her stuff inside out.

@Spacegalore@Space_Lectures Thanks Rick. He was a special man and I was honoured to spend the time I did with him in the process of telling his story...
@Iwanrunner 1998 was an amazing year for you... but my fave memory from the Commonwealth Games was you and Jamie mucking about in the home straight during the semis... And you still clocked 44.61!
Happy New Year everyone!
I'm looking forward to my talk at Knowle Astronomy Club on Monday 8th:

It's nearly a year since Gene Cernan passed away, and I'm glad of the opportunity to share my experiences of working closely with him.
