How to Connect Google Search Console to Google Analytics 4 and unlock two organic search reports
And if you connected GSC already, but it's now showing in the default reports in GA4, make sure you publish the Search Console Collection in your library: https://t.co/ZdJBGQ938F
@JohnMu Thansk John for the confirmation, I kind of suspected that I'm just having the typical challenge of getting the devs to take it on board I'm sure your clarity will help thanks
@JohnMu help!! We have a really successful ab test inline with your guidance on the blog with 50/50 traffic split they now want to send all 100% traffic to the test page as a soft test b4 fully live feels like a bad idea as alot of traffic over lots of store pages Thoughts please
@JohnMu Will Google still understand the test if the old page gets no traffic but the 302 and canonicle is in place or is there a chance if all traffic goes to the new page Google might see this as the one to index? Hope That helps .. thanks John hope you enjoyed Brighton
@JohnMu So whats the impact of sending 100% bot and users traffic to a test page when you still want to keep the original indexed ? We are still set up with a 302 and a canonicle to the original page just the test will get 100% traffic .
@LloydsPharmacy when will you system be back up ? I've got an urgent prescription I need and it's stuck on Ur system. How can this happen ? I need it today
@sizeofficial where is my order is been 3 weeks for a hoodie and a tshirt no communication no update no explanation ..you have my money I want my stuff ..Never again there a plenty of other places to buy from I'll just use them.
@JohnMu is page level data publicly available in the crux report from big query or are you keeping all that lovely stuff to yourselfs leaving us with origin only ? The data is there can you share ? #tongincheek#corewebvitals any help greatly received
@JohnMu#seo we have a really clear LCP on our desktop PLP as a banner image. however on mobile the banner does not exist and one of the product images is classed as the LCP . This is making our LCP score poor on mobile .. what's can we do to redefine the LCP on mobile please?
When the browser is asking for our users location for a store lookup . The native browser share you location is blocking LCP .. any thoughts @JohnMu on how to get round that please
@JohnMu Perfect thanks. I will pass on to my analytics team ..they will love this. ThevCWV update has really help us to communicate and simplyfy the need for a fast website and all the issues that affect performance. Where does AMP sit amung all this mix ?
@JohnMu are the core web vitals report for mobile in GSC based on a 3g network.. im saying we need to ensure a good experience for all users but the business is saying we are perfomant enought on 4g and that's good enough for the bulk of traffic
