@kalyanaraman99 But likely not in a real way. There are different classes of shares and board/voting power is typically concentrated in the class of shares granted to founders and investors, not to employees. I think they don't do this because they don't have to to get workers.

Full house: PyLadies at our first 2020 study group 🎆
(We are getting more chairs...)
#ESB, easily viewable from our host @BeeswaxIO tonight, is very colorful.
#Python#DiversityandInclusion
Our Nov #python study group is literally a full house! Not one empty seat. Not to worry, we can expand to another room!
There are @OReillyMedia books for reference, too for our library @BeeswaxIO.
Open source today: @VMware ($8B in 2018 rev) sponsors article in industry shill pub @thenewstack "How to Build a Tech Community that Motivates Even the Unpaid." It's the shameful norm to extract free value from devs. Article advises giving out t-shirts for "important milestones"
Reads email announcing all the new @pagerduty feature launches ... "...situational awareness by using machine learning..." Fancy!! Logs in to see if they have finally implemented INCIDENT SEARCH. Sighs. Mutters, "No search. In 2019." Maybe in 2020?
Dear @pagerduty, please stop redesigning your logo and add the only feature that matters, which somehow unbelievably you still don't have, incident search. Also, smart deduping/collapsing, which @airbrake had in 2010, would be nice.
@athuras@pagerduty@syun I see it as the combination of timing and receiving the most capital winning a category, generally independent of the product being the best or even being anywhere near as good as it "should" be. Capital wins. https://t.co/ieElpZ4cRx
It's time for me to again use @pagerduty and marvel that you can't search Incidents. Manageable amount of highly structured, highly indexable data. i.e just not that hard. Would be immensely useful to users. Astonishing they made it all the way to the top without this.
@ezberry Just heard @mkapor in an interview on @TWistartups say he is planning to basically ignore the volatility of @Uber post-IPO for the first six months or so ...
In a new episode of my podcast I interview @thumbtack engineer @TayTayTrey before he starts his gig and again 6 months in. What do you wish you knew about becoming an #engineer? About what to expect on the job? Hear the story! https://t.co/ek7spdJu4q
