@RebelDevil71@stableeye@LydiaHislop Still think a comparison with Friendly Soul is pertinent
BC was hammered out of sight on Saturday and yet declared a non-runner due to the stalls issue.
Friendly Soul had far less chance to recover and that incident forced them to change tracks !
"Right by the rules. Wrong for racing?"
Lydia Hislop dissects the decision to declare Derby favourite Benvenuto Cellini a non-runner after crossing the line in tenth:

@LydiaHislop If all stalls had cameras and each start was reviewed, imagine the delay to results being declared and bets being settled.
T'was a bad day for the sport on a few levels.
@itvracing@WhelanRonan Farcical days racing.
Some of the jockeys....persisting with coming over to the stands rail and getting hammered.
Fav in the Derby deemed a non-runner...
@Ben_1885 Β£2m for a Sioux Nation filly... should've banked it.
However, horse is with the wrong trainer. 24 winners in a year and a half is a poor strike rate and he's 1 from 26 at Epsom.
Four winners at Epsom and all frigging singles. The one day I don't do multiples at a big meeting
Ah well. Royal Cornwall Show party vibe so enjoying the day !
@racingtips Problem is he was outridden in the second, which made him lose the third by committing too early.
Still doesn't have the patience and intelligence of Geraghty or Walsh and not even in top five current jockeys
That's a shocker from Burke at Fakenham. Allowed his mount Dancing Dame to be used as a buffer by eventual winner who kept adjusting right.
Woefully out thought and out fought by Worsley
@JamesPearceLFC Heβs deluded.
His tactics are muddled, substitutions are bizarre and counter productive and his selections and utilisation of players at right back is worthy of ridicule
And this started last season so the mitigation he talks about isnβt as relevant as he believes it to be
