Payton Wilson finished with 15 tackles, 2 TFL, a sack and an INT tonight.

He is, in my opinion, the ACC’s player of the year and if he’s not an All-American is a crime.

@markthomas24 He’s been inconsistent at best throwing but I don’t get why people seem to not care that he’s our leading rusher. He’s being asked to do a lot and is 3-4 near misses a game from being very good. As of now he’s been mediocre but you’d think he was unplayable based on the reaction

@WolfpackRobNC Two reasons. 1-defenses tend to get picked apart the more film you get on them and as injuries mount up and 2- the receivers dropping passes have to do with the rhythm and timing of his throws. He’s a second behind on his throws. That will get better.

Injuries don’t have anything to do with Brennan Armstrong not playing well…he has to play better. And I believe he will.
