@PaulPabst schlitz was the #1 selling beer in the US in the 50s and was a strong number 2 until the mid-70s. Then AB took over. The recipe change was the death nell.
Had so many special moments the last few weeks on the mountain with my team and my teammates…but had some equally special moments off the mountain—not limited to meeting my long lost “sister” Kylie Kelce and “brother-in-law” Jason, from that “other podcast” (let’s talk, btw…). (*My mom*) Can’t wait to teach you how to ski, Kylie! 😉
But, in all seriousness, it was such a pleasure to witness—and be inspired by—so many of my Team USA teammates’ Olympic performances and stories of resilience, and also send love to those who experienced heartbreak on the world stage.🫶 You all dreamed big and dared greatly. It was a joy to celebrate my teammates and their medals, celebrate my own team for all of the work they did to win gold with me, sit down with Mike Tirico for prime time in Milan, hug the reigning Olympic champ and welcome her back to racing, get a surprise visit from my best friend, and so much more.
Thank you all for joining me on this journey…but we’re not done yet. Onward to the rest of the @fisalpine World Cup season! Moving Right Along, as they say!!
Love,
Miki ❤️
For those curious who’s speaking to Brady here at the natty, that’s fellow #Raiders minority owner Egon Durban, billionaire co-CEO of private equity firm Silver Lake.
Durban owns a 7.5% stake in the team. Brady has 5%, sharing a 10% stake with business partner Tom Wagner.
Businessman Michael Meldman (7.5%) and former player Richard Seymour (~0.5%) are also minority owners, all these stake purchases being approved in late 2024, bringing an influx of cash to Mark Davis’ Vegas franchise.
Our special teams are not special. Atrocious except for our place kicker. Arbuckle’s idea of an adjustment after half time is to run a mending QB1 up the middle
