No history, but... we've won it all 😂

🚨 Petr Čech: “Roman was forced out. City are being pampered.”
“This is no longer only about a football club. It is about who is protected, and who is not. American owners. Russian owners. Arab owners. Are they treated the same? No.
When Roman was stripped of the club, the line from the FA was that the integrity of the game sits above the interest of any foreign national. That line has changed. This is now interest, and ties.
A supporter of City, dressed up as a fair statement, has arrived from Andy Burnham. That is not his job. Sport has a ministry. Let it work. A political office telling the game how a case should land is not neutral, and it is not small.
The message underneath is obvious. Do not push this club. Do not talk about a sale. We prefer these owners to stay. That is not fair. It is dangerous.
You do not want to lose the partner. Or you want to bend the competition. I do not know which. What I know is that money is now the subject.
A Russian owner was forced to sell and leave, with no FA charge and no Premier League sustainability breach in front of him. City sit on 115. They are being managed, appealed, and spoken for. Burnham backing the ownership is disappointing.
Roman put billions into Chelsea and turned it into a European powerhouse. He was shown the door. City broke the competition. A man convicted, still calling himself innocent because the paperwork was not perfect. That is this case.
The rules that protect every member club should be allowed to run when there is a defaulter. Or some clubs get a privilege. I do not think that is fair.
The delay, the appeals, the political comment — they are all on the table. In my book, City cheated. The outcome will say whether the game still has rules, or only friends.”
"Get lost! How dare you ruin what's part of our country, our DNA in this country."
Ian Holloway had some very strong words when asked about the Man City charges.
The fact that Chelsea doesn't file a complaint about this kind of terrible refereeing is one of the reasons they keep getting away with things like this.
If it was Real Madrid in Chelsea's place, I'm sure that referee will never feature in any Chelsea game ever again.
🇦🇺 IF AUSTRALIA CAN HEAR PIDDINGTON, WHY CAN’T OUR OWN PRIME MINISTER?
Today, The Australian takes Piddington’s story across the world—our referendum, legal challenge and fight to be heard.
Yet Andy Burnham remains silent.
Spartacus Rex aged 7 is a distant memory to the UK PM
Australia is listening. Britain is watching. Why isn’t Downing Street?

@NeilSpyBarnett Surely you don't mean the app that you have to pay to watch a pre-season game against some 4th rate team from Australia!! Don't for 1 minute think 'they care about us' just a money making process for them.
Here come the club briefs by the usual suspects. We're having to sell multiple players not because of a season out of Europe, but due to 4 years of catastrophic sporting and commercial decisions made by the most incompetent ownership in football.
🤬 “I f*cking HATE Tottenham… it’s the only team I hate”
🥴 “I have to question the player… why would you go to Tottenham?”
John Terry can’t hide his DISDAIN for Spurs as Simon Jordan reacts to Sandro Tonali transfer.

Welcome to Chelsea, Xabi Alonso!
As Jimmy Greaves famously said, "It's probably the greatest name in the world: Chelsea. You think about it. What does it conjure up? It conjures up the best part of the biggest city in the world. Chelsea... it’s magical."
Come On You Blues

@whitewall618431 That for me will be a very wise and significant experienced signing. Maybe they are actually changing ' the project' and the Palace centre backs will definitely strengthen the defence.
🚨🔵 Moisés Caicedo on Enzo Fernández leaving Chelsea:
🗣️ “It’s a decision he’s made, and it’s not something that happened overnight. I think he wants to try a different path and I don’t see anything wrong with that.”
🗣️ “If he was still fully committed to staying here, then it would be a completely different conversation. But you can’t force a player to keep loving a project once his mind is elsewhere.”
🗣️ “Honestly, I wanted us to go a long way together. We came here with big dreams, we wanted to dominate the midfield for years and become Chelsea legends together.”
🗣️ “But football has its own way of changing plans. Sometimes the people you start the journey with aren’t the ones you finish it with.”
🗣️ “Now it’s my responsibility to keep fighting for this badge. I hope the team bounces back as soon as possible because this club belongs at the very top.”
🗣️ “As for me, I still have one dream—to become a Chelsea legend. That’s why I came here, and that’s why I’ll keep giving everything for this club.”
🗣️ “People will always leave, new players will always arrive, but my commitment hasn’t changed. I want to stay here for a very long time and build something special with Chelsea.”
🗣 Marcel Desailly on Palmer: "What a talent – there’s nothing to say against the talent of Palmer. The only doubt I have around Palmer is how he has been used. He’s playing on the right side.
I saw him more, like [Enzo] Fernández, playing in that position behind a striker and having the responsibility for the offensive animation. They did not give him that role. But I could also see that he never came out and said, “I can do it, I am ready for it.”"
