As Women’s month wraps up, I’ve been thinking about how far I’ve come, the lessons, the quiet wins, and even the moments that tested me.

I’m proud of the woman I’m becoming. Still learning, unleaening, growing, and showing up even when some days come off not easy.
March may be ending, but this journey is still mine, every day.

I’d start with the green hills and open skies.
The way the land rolls gently, never in a hurry, wrapped in gardens and trees.
I’d say, “You don’t try to impress. You just breathe and suddenly everything feels calmer.”

Then the air.
That clean countryside freshness soil after rain, banana leaves, morning dew.
I’d lean in and whisper, “Being with you feels like a reset button for the soul.”

I’d admire the gardens and farms too, matooke plantations, humble homesteads, roadside stalls bursting with fresh produce.
“You’re the kind of Valentine who shows love through nourishment, quiet, natural, and real.”

And the people… oh, the people.
In Nakifuma and Gayaza, strangers greet you like old friends. Neighbors check in. Life is shared, not rushed.
I’d smile and say, “Your love language is people, and you speak it fluently.”

Then come the evenings
Golden sunsets melting over the hills. Birds finding their way home. Cooking fires flickering to life. The world exhaling.
“You don’t just end the day… you tuck it in gently.”

Nakifuma–Gayaza wouldn’t be the flashy Valentine with city lights and noise.
It would be the peaceful one.
The one you grow with.
The one you build a future with.
The kind of love that lasts.
