Nah man you just aren’t looking in every genre. Bella Kay blew up in about 6 months from zero with the song “iloveitiloveitiloveit”. She has 18M monthly listeners now with 10 songs.

Look at Lola Young, messy completely took over strictly from short form content last year and she performed at the Grammys because of it.

Other artists like Sombr and Addison Rae gain not even half their popularity without utilizing TikTok’s artists paying creator tool that pays views with their sounds.

We are still in the very early stages and plenty of opportunities for artists, just need to be crafty and not put out basic slop.
