5-year Coinbase user. No violations. Fully verified.
Now my account is restricted — I can’t move my own crypto.
@CoinbaseSupport @MelissaOnBase confirmed I did nothing wrong, then ghosted me.
This isn’t security. It’s custodial obstruction.

For over 45 days, I’ve been persistently requesting a clear explanation from Coinbase as to why I’m being prevented from transferring my assets. Despite repeated inquiries, they’ve failed to articulate any lawful or policy-based reason for the restriction. Instead, I’m repeatedly told to “wait 3 days” — a cycle that has gone nowhere.
I’ve completed every request multiple times: identity re-verification, quizzes, password changes, 2FA validations — you name it. After 8 rounds of this so-called process, there’s been zero progress. Every time, I’m told to open a new ticket. It’s maddening — an endless loop of redundant tasks designed to frustrate and exhaust users.
Even the Chief Regulatory Officer at Coinbase acknowledged in direct communication that I’ve done nothing wrong and assured me this would be resolved. Yet, here we are — still locked out from transferring, still stonewalled.
At this point, the intent is clear: Coinbase is deliberately obstructing access to my assets without cause. This is not compliance — this is overreach, and it reeks of self-interest. They want to hold the money, the assets, and keep users stuck.
This isn’t just frustrating — it’s unethical. And I won’t stop until it’s exposed.
Every day is a holiday—a gift. We each perceive reality through our own lens, and often, multiple perspectives can be true at the same time just like the quantum world transition,, conduder approaching with honesty and openness.
I do my best not to judge or blame. If my values or beliefs no longer align with someone, I simply choose to stop communicating or transacting with them—peacefully, without conflict.
Why can’t we all be amazing? I truly want everyone to win. But those who operate with malicious intent are not my responsibility. The laws of karma take care of that better than some know. . Poor choices bring lessons, and humility follows those who need it most.
I still wish them well. Because no one can harm another without attracting energy that eventually returns—again and again—until the lesson is learned.
Anger, resentment, and retaliation aren’t the victim’s job. We receive what we give. So I encourage everyone to reflect before doing harm—because no wrongdoing goes unnoticed, and in the end you will will receive what you serve.
So serve greatness with humility and gratitude.
Bless you all in your journey.
@CoinbaseSupport@CoinbaseSupport my account has been locked without reason for weeks. I’ve completed all security checks and passed every ID verification multiple times.
I’ve spoken to 5+ reps, and no one can explain why my account is still restricted. I want access to my Bitcoin to self-custody — you advertise user control, so honor that. Please escalate this immediately and respond with specifics.
@coinbasesupport, @coinbase
May I respectfully ask why their official email is a Gmail account? That feels like a red flag, no pun intended, simply trying to learn, I’ve had many scammers trying to act as if they are Coinbase support but I’m extremely precautious and believe in full transparency. Appreciate your guidance and patience as I understand why Coinbase support would not have an official Coinbase email address
