@RyanGrins@rnewton7777 Idk if it's worth mentioning, but the song being played in this part of the film is called "Dueling Banjos". Prob insignificant, but kinda cool in context. Lost on any significance that'd hold tho, apart from some super basic interpretation.
@fire_toolz Just tried to dm, but the site won't let me for some reason (think I know why, but will explain it later.) Will j send a message through the contact page on the Fire-Toolz site w/ details.
@fire_toolz Hey, my apologies for such a delayed response. Just found the folder on an old hard drive. It's indexing rn. Running some errands atm, but will dm with details when I get back home.
@fire_toolz if looking for old-school emo tho, I've got full rips of oldass blogspots based around it, which featured both oldschool n revival stuff. could prob upload the archives to Mega unless you know a better alternative.
@fire_toolz never any real luck in those, feel like it's an oft-overlooked feature. been using soulseek for literally like 20 years n never had much luck in the "rooms"
@HumansNoContext I used to always say it was Scarlet Diva, but now am not so sure. I'd have to rewatch it to see if I was just biased or if that opinion's changed. Possibly one of the last films Tony Bourdain ever saw.
Fuck this segment is so good! Have had this song stuck in my head since the first time I saw this movie like 19 years ago. Those shots of the stairways and hallways are absolutely beautiful, Hitchcock was a genius at knowing how to plot storylines.
