Do you know what that bill has done?

Its given the presidency a through pass to privatise 63 parastatals without going back to parliament! Without seeking even public participation!

You know what, of the 63 parastatals, 18 have already gone!

Have you seen government parastatals change names and add LIMITED at the end?

It means they have been privatised.

Privately the shares have been sold to foreign and local companies, they will later list the same at NSE and reap the profits when the prices go up.

Imagine a parastatal like Kenya Railways, all the land is gone! Kenya Seed Company!

Facts about Surah Kahf
=======================
Surah Kahf is the 18th surah of the Holy Quran that Allah revealed to Prophet Muhammad in Mecca. This chapter has 110 verses that contain many important Islamic themes and teach many lessons. However, what makes this surah unique is that it tells four different stories that are quite instructive. The most famous one is the story of Companions of the Cave aka Ashabul Kahf.

Short understanding of Surah Al-Kahf
==============================
Many of the previous surahs focused on stories of nations that rejected guidance. Here, in Surah al-Kahf, we find that Allah offers examples of various people who did follow guidance, and how it saved them from suffering the same fate as the disbelievers. This serves as yet another proof of the Qur’an being the true guidance, as mentioned in the first ten verses of the surah. Following the guidance of the Qur’an will lead to salvation, just as the Divine guidance of the past led the people mentioned in this surah to their salvation.
The Surah's teachings about materialism guide towards contentment, and its lessons on power and humility inspire balanced leadership. It's a source of tranquillity.

The main lessons from the four stories of Surah Al-Kahf.

▪️ The Story of the people of the cave
– A Trial of Faith

This story is about a number of young men who were driven out of their homes because they believed in Allah. They ended up in a cave where Allah made them sleep for many years (309 lunar years which is 300 solar years). When they woke up they felt they had slept for a day or half a day. One of them went to the town to get some food disguising himself thinking that the people would recognise and harm him. Only to find himself amongst different people. The people of the town were amazed at the appearance of this man and the old coins he was using. The story shows us how Allah protects the righteous who believe in Him no matter how hard their situation is. The Biblical version of the story is called ‘The Seven Sleepers of Ephesus”, however, the Qur’an doesn’t mention the number of those who were in the cave.

▪️ The Story of the Man Who Owns Two Gardens – A Trial of Wealth

This is a story about a man who owned two beautiful gardens, but he became arrogant and told his friend “I am greater than you in wealth and have more servants and attendants and children!!” (Quran 18:34)
The man forgot to be thankful for the bounties Allah has bestowed upon him, hence Allah destroyed his gardens. This story is a lesson to those who take worldly matters for granted and forget that all that they have is from Allah and He is capable of taking it all away if he will.

▪️ A great example of this can be found in the story of Musa and al-Khiḍr. In this story, Allah teaches us numerous lessons on how His decree protects the interests of the righteous from the violations of the disbelievers,

▪️ The Story of Musa and Al-Khidr – A Trail of Knowledge
Prophet Muhammad said: “Once Musa Alaihis Salam stood up and addressed Bani Israel. He was asked who the most learned man amongst the people was. He said: “I.” Allah reprimanded him as he did not attribute absolute knowledge to Him (Allah). So, Allah said to him: “Yes, at the junction of the two seas there is a slave of Mine who is more learned than you.” Moses said: “O my Lord! How can I meet him?” So Allah instructed Musa as to where to find the man who was known as “Al-Khidr”-The Green One.
🔗 As we arrive at the story of Musa and al-Khiḍr, we will learn how Divine guidance is upheld by a person with knowledge. Throughout the story, we learn that there is a profound difference between knowledge and wisdom. Allah granted Prophet Musa knowledge of the book and instructed him to follow it. On the other hand, al-Khiḍr was given wisdom of the decree, and he was mandated to teach Prophet Musa how this wisdom manifested.
