Interesting take. Standards are upheld by both parties, yes, but a submissive should also have standards for themselves and how they show up in the dynamic. A dominant sets the outline, but the submissive is responsible for filling it in. That’s where accountability comes in. Submission isn’t just about following instructions it’s about holding yourself to the standard your dominant expects of you.
