I'd rather see @hugoglezz_ in the starting lineup alongside @Dwhite921, @Yg_Trece, @jaytatum0, and @23savage____. He fits perfectly with those guys because he's not ball-dominant, doesn't need touches to be effective, plays hard-nosed basketball, impacts the game in multiple ways
@celtics don't need to bring @paytonpritch3 back to the starting lineup, even if he's playing well with @jaytatum0. He's better suited coming off the bench because of the immediate impact he can provide.

Payton Pritchard had the chance to do that last season. Joe put him in the starting lineup, but he never stepped up in a big way. Even if the Celtics don't make another trade after moving JB, this roster is still much better than last year's.
The Celtics are banking on Payton Pritchard making a Jalen Brunson-type leap, per @tomhaberstroh
“The Celtics trading [Jaylen] Brown is a bet that [Payton] Pritchard is their in-house version of New York Knicks guard Jalen Brunson, a diminutive player who didn’t fully show his talents until Luka Dončić was out of the picture.”

In a way, I feel Brad Stevens potentially created a disastrous situation in Philadelphia. Joel Embiid is a shell of his former self, and Jaylen Brown is going to demand #1 option looks that could cut into the development of both Maxey and Edgecombe.
Will 76ers make it work or did Brad Stevens create a ticking time bomb in Philadelphia? Am I crazy to think these draft picks can be really valuable?
BLOCKBUSTER: The Boston Celtics have agreed to trade Jaylen Brown to the Philadelphia 76ers for Paul George, two first-round picks and two second-round picks, sources tell ESPN.
The interesting part here is: what if Brad Stevens isn't done yet? What if he flips JB for Evan Mobley? A Defensive Player of the Year and Mitchell Robinson, one of the league's best defensive bigs, would create the best defensive frontcourt in the entire NBA. 🤯
Just in: Free agent F/C Sandro Mamukelashvili has agreed to a four-year, $52 million deal to sign with Los Angeles Lakers, with a player option for the fourth season, sources tell ESPN. Big fully guaranteed deal for George Roussakis and Mark Bartelstein of @PrioritySports.
The Lakers now have no tradeable first-round draft picks over the next 7 years after this sign-and-trade for Walker Kessler.
Los Angeles is now also committed to $475 million between Luka Doncic, Austin Reaves, and Walker Kessler.
Free agent center Mitchell Robinson has agreed to a three-year, $47.4 million deal to sign with the Boston Celtics, with a player option in third season, sources tell ESPN. Robinson departs the Knicks after serving a key role on the historic championship team.
