MLB Together is teaming up with Clean Miami Beach as part of the #WorldBaseballClassic legacy project.
To protect wildlife and beautify a local natural habitat, volunteers will meet at Sandy’s Beach on March 16 to pick up trash and harmful pollutants.
With the 2026 World Baseball Classic coinciding with America’s 250th birthday, the beach cleanup will be part of MLB’s League-wide pledge of 250,000 hours of community service and volunteerism to commemorate the historic anniversary.
FanFest was even more special as we continued our tradition of hosting the Miracle League of Miami-Dade at @loanDepotpark through Marlins Baseball For All presented by @AbaCentersofFlo 💙

A field trip to remember! Together, the Miami Marlins, Major League Baseball, and CBS News Miami Correspondent Cristian Benavides enabled our Pre-Employment Transition Program blind teenagers to have the rare sensory experience of the game of baseball. From being able to touch the grass and the leather gloves, to hearing the click of the bat, one can be assured that our students will continue to enjoy baseball by listening to games on the radio! ⚾💙
Thank you! Together, we prove it's possible to see without sight 💙 #MiamiLighthouse @cbenavidesTV@Marlins@MarlinsImpact@MLB@ChildrensTrust@FLBlindServices@ELCMDM@Abletrust@MDCPS@cbssaturday@CBSMiami
