@thecavemommy A woman I know re homed her chihuahua because it growled at her new baby. The older couple that took him had 2 other dogs. A year later, the chihuahua ruled the other dogs and slept in their bed. He had a wonderful life with them. People need to grow up.

@Abomination81 My FIL is a doctor who can’t stop working because his second wife literally spends every. penny. They spend tons of $ and time on their collection of decaying animals. AND they’re hoarders. It really hurts my spouse that his dad has no legacy built for his kids and grandchildren

@HazelAppleyard Hear me out, if he is an asshole, the kids and his ex wife are better off without him being a resentful asshole around them 24/7. You can’t change people, not even with therapy and marital counseling. I have seen many a miserable couple, married for decades.

@kaileesi_ @ernunnos @DoDeportations He’s right. I work in a hospital that specializes in plastics and reconstructive surgery. We get dog bites all the time and they seldom make the news. The little boy who was dragged off his bike and scalped by 2 escaped pit bulls made the news though.

@OriaBeau @robbystarbuck I work in a hospital that specializes in the same thing. It’s almost always a pit bull mix and mostly to the face of small children. It can also be life altering hand injuries and near amputations of fingers. Usually by a family pet they have played with before.
