@Super70sSports How long would you have to go back in time to where the worst team in the modern NFL would consistently beat the best team in the NFL at that time?
@B_E_Krause @thronesfacts Qyburn is on the roof. Breathlessly, he grabs a torch, preparing to light the signal brasier. He shock is complete when a dart - the same type dart Jaqen Hagar used at Harrenhal - appears in his neck.
@B_E_Krause @thronesfacts Jamie falls back onto the throne, slumping over in death with Cersei at his feet. Just then, Grey Worm and his Unsullied enter the throne room. The Mountain is overrun by a torrent of spears.
@B_E_Krause @thronesfacts Back in the throne room, Jamie is quickly tiring against a superior foe. He calls out to Gregor, desperately trying to find some spark of humanity in the man, but the Mountain cuts off his remaining hand and stabs him in the gut.
@B_E_Krause @thronesfacts A smile washes over Arya’s face. “Not today.” She hurls a knife at the rope holding the chandelier, sending it crashing into a wall, plunging the hall into a mix light and shadows.
@B_E_Krause @thronesfacts Qyburn calls for his guards to defend the hallway while he turns to climb the stairs leading to top of the Keep. Before he disappears, he tells Arya, “I would have loved to study you, my dear. The power you hold must be intoxicating. It’s a shame you have to die.”
@B_E_Krause @thronesfacts Their moment is short-lived. Qyburn yells for his guard to follow and tasks the Mountain with killing Jamie. As their battle is joined, Arya runs after Qyburn, entering a long hall illuminated by a candle-lit chandelier.
@B_E_Krause @thronesfacts Cersei turns on Jamie, convinced he has betrayed her. She begins raving with an anger that is terrible and beautiful. She turns to Qyburn, and is about to order the wildfire lit, when a sword - Jamie’s sword - tears through her chest.
@B_E_Krause @thronesfacts There is a moment of confusion as the kneeling Qyburn removes a faceless man mask to reveal Arya Stark, Needle tight in her hand. She slowly approaches the throne.
@B_E_Krause @thronesfacts He desperately tries to convince her to run away with him. And, right when she is about to acquiesce, the throne room door opens and the real Qyburn walks in with a guard of eight soldiers in full armor.
@B_E_Krause @thronesfacts She is alone in thought, knowing the end is hear. Qyburn enters, drops to a knee and whispers “The city is lost.” Cersei is internally debating her next move when Jamie appears suddenly behind her, using the hidden tunnels his brother told him about to get to her.
@B_E_Krause @thronesfacts The sounds of battle ringing throughout the Red Keep, Cersei sits on the throne, holding the same vial of poison she held during the Battle of the Blackwater. The Mountain stands guarding the door in silence.
@B_E_Krause @thronesfacts At the same time, Cersei will send ravens throughout the realm, telling the populace that Daenerys used her dragons to wreck the city, that Daenerys has gone mad like all Targaryens do. If Cersei can’t have the throne, no one can.
@B_E_Krause @thronesfacts Cersei tells Qyburn to hide caches of wildfire throughout the city. When the city falls, Cersei will give Qyburn a signal to lay waste King’s Landing. A single lit brasier on the top of the Red Keep and Qyburn’s agents will ignite the fire, destroying everything and everyone.
