@stayfreeCanada2 55% yes gets a US recognition and a slam dunk separation. But yes, without US recognition, nothing changes. Other than more hostility and kneecapping from the ROC.
@Martyupnorth Totally agree. North America’s political and cultural ties have always run north and south, not east and west. Alberta has far more in common with Montana, Wyoming, Idaho, Oklahoma, and Texas, than Ontario, Quebec, and the Maritimes.
@VtheSp1der@whoistife_x I did 400/day 5 days/week in 2025. Bought a backpack and put a 25lb cinder block in it and mix weighted ones in now. Progress continues.
@HockeyThinkTank These are all valid points, and this is a bit off topic, but in these one game and done tournaments, the winner is quite often not the best team. Only a 7 game series determines the best team. So maybe another reason to not read too much into the loss.
@ShannonBaerwald@KurtLeavins 100% agree. So glad they’re not playing. Rest up for what matters…..the Stanley Cup Playoffs. Here’s hoping McDavid and Draisaitl come out not hurt or exhausted.
@SpencerFernando So you get an offer from the most powerful and richest country that history has ever known to form an economic union and you just default to no? Because of an allegiance to your country that by design is no longer recognizable? Give that more thought.
