I’ve been experimenting with X for about a month.

I don’t think the algorithm works like it used to.

Before, it felt more like:

Hashtags + likes + retweets = reach.

Now it feels more like:

Topic clarity + account trust + real replies + niche audience = reach.

So I’ll share my observations one by one.

Not as an expert.
Just as someone testing it every day.
Topics I’ll cover:

• Old X vs New X
• Account score / trust signals
• Premium / blue check advantage
• Hashtags
• Replies vs likes
• First sentence / hook
• Links in posts
• Images, GIFs and videos
• Posting throughout the day
• Niche account advantage
• Why “wishlist now” posts don’t always work
• Real questions vs fake engagement questions

Maybe it helps other indie devs too.
