@tjfarina Mad Men. Have it a shot, just couldn’t get into it

I grew up in the public housing projects and learned some hard lessons so you didn't have to.

Here are 11 things I learned from growing up in the hood, surrounded daily by crackheads, gangbangers, poverty, and death.

@MDSmalls23 Legit basketball genius. Runs the offense when he’s on the floor. Great to have him engaged. Went from being a “contract” to trade to a key component of a winning team. Awesome to watch

[Mario Pecchia @marpecc]

@DavidZavac Not down at all but measured. Cavs are really good and a great watch BUT they just won their first game against a top team at full strength. Ceiling is through the roof but I’m not setting big expectations yet. Matchups will matter!

@JordanZirm Is Eric Gordon in the conversation?

[Ida Bae Wells @nhannahjones]

I was invited to give an MLK speech today and a small number of members of the group hosting me wrote and then leaked emails opposing my giving this speech, as it dishonored Dr. King for me to do so. They called me a "discredited activist" "unworthy of such association with King"

[Mario Pecchia @marpecc]

@MDSmalls23 Get this weak tweet outta here!

[Mario Pecchia @marpecc]

@Gbush91 Zero interest unless he were to be somehow exonerated from the allegations. I would suspend my lifelong Browns fandom if they go this way. Does not matter how good he is as qb.

@AkronJackson @DreKnott Important question: with the 17 game season does the “5-11” jam change to “5-12” or “6-11”??

[Nicki Jhabvala @NickiJhabvala]

Philadelphia Eagles QB Jalen Hurts sent a letter to the Washington Football Team and the NFL today asking "what follow-up action is being considered" after a railing at FedEx Field collapsed Sunday night, sending fans tumbling and nearly hitting him.

[Mario Pecchia @marpecc]

@DavidZavac I’m prob naive but I see lots of upside on a team just starting to figure it out. Just cutting down on turnovers will make a big difference. Of course there is always ego lurking…

@PatthewMecchia @VincePecchia Just out there tossin’ the ol’ pigskin in a tight pair of wranglers and workin’ his land!

@tjfarina @ClueHeywood Btw the vocals are not fagen so comparatively less wryness in the delivery (of a song about a guy who hates himself for shagging a married woman) lending to the yacht-rockiness

[Mario Pecchia @marpecc]

@tjfarina @ClueHeywood White guy falsetto ✅, flagrant overuse of vocal harmony ✅, sax solo ✅, soft & smooooooth✅✅ >>> YACHT ROCK!
