Jalen Duren plans to explore sign-and-trade scenarios after contract negotiations have stalled out with the Pistons, per @sam_amick (https://t.co/bGbfYhcZEs).
There is a large enough gap in value from Duren’s camp and Detroit where he feels like it’s best to now play elsewhere.
I have literally zero interest in on-ball players that don’t pass and can’t make reads.
MPJ plays the 4, is an off-ball demon, bends the defense with his shooting, what he brings to the Pistons as a 4 and how they’d use him they don’t need him to be high level passer.
They get a combo guard or scoring guard that is incapable of making reads or passes, and I’ll be quite critical of the move.
Moving on from Duncan really shouldn’t be an option for Detroit unless he’s part of a bigger move.
He was incredible for Detroit this past season. He’s on a great contract.
I do not want to see him go. They desperately need what he brings.

Just in: Minnesota is sending Julius Randle and the No. 28 pick in the NBA Draft to the Brooklyn Nets in a three-team trade that sends Nic Claxton to the Chicago Bulls, sources tell ESPN. The Timberwolves will acquire Brooklyn’s No. 33 pick for Randle and No. 28.
Boomer cultural dominance is so bad that you can watch your own son drop 45 to win the NBA Finals and immediately start talking about some guy from the 90s
