@RupertLowe10 I live in one of the most deprived wards in London. Please turn off chat GPT and go have a cup of tea. This ranting is genuinely stupid and you have a duty to your constituents to at least pretend to be an intelligent adult.
@RupertLowe10 Absolute, absolute nonsense. It was never your city: places like London make people like you uncomfortable in the same way a healthy immune system works to expel dangerous contamination. Please continue to keep your stupid, insubstantial gibbering as far away from us as possible.
@theashrb They're an interesting case because they have the systems, the capacity and the capability, but don't always have the political will to implement it. And a byzantine federal system underneath all that that's highly vulnerable to politicisation
@Howlng_D@Centeristvoice@BEHINDTHELASER@Mr_Andrew_Fox @NeilAxelrod That’s a lot wrong in a short message. Much that could be discussed, but I don’t get the sense you’re somebody interested in the pleasures of intellectual discovery. You can’t have good opinions based on bad info - and knowingness IS comforting, I do get that. Have a good life
@FJB517846324736 Well. If you’re good at your PE investing/ city lawyering and this is how you feel, you won’t be paying much in the way of tax anyway, so this is all fairly performative. You being done will change very little. Enjoy it though
@MichaelRosenYes Well – to be fair – they were only really asking you if they can. Generously, you confirmed they can't. So it turned out you're the helpful one! Hope it clears up though
So Tales of the Gog Vol. 1 (very much working title) was shortlisted for the 2024 Cheshire Novel Prize! The Gog & its odd crew made it to the last nine. Might write the next two now. Thanks to all at @prize_novel for all you do, it’s hugely impressive.
