Our new systematic review & network meta-analysis suggests earlier may be better:
👉 Starting ACO within 0–4 days appears safe and may lower recurrent stroke risk without increasing ICH.

We conducted a meta-analysis of atrial shunt device therapy in HFpEF across 3 RCTs

🔎 Key findings:
❌ No improvement in MACE, QoL, MI, or stroke/TIA
⚠️ Trend toward ↑ HF events & CV mortality

➡️ Highlights the need for better patient selection
