The west’s theological approach: more practical, juridical, and influenced by Roman law
East’s theological approach: more speculative, mystical, and rooted in Greek philosophy, emphasizing deification (theosis), the Trinity's persons, and liturgy.
Early church was Greek. NT written in koine Greek.
Focused on practicality (doctrinal development) leads to syncretism. Vatican 2 makes this an indisputable fact.
@MatNuclear@locdinwithzaza_ If you don’t adopt the victim mindset you are banished from the community!
This is what the matriarchy demands:
YOU MUST REMAIN THE VICTIM OR TOU ARE BANISHED!
@LivingGodsTruth This is my issue as a baptized Episcopalian.
Beautiful churches all over NY. But every Anglican/Episcopalian church is infiltrated.
Orthodoxy seems to be the only true exception.
@jackrwilkie The U.S. isn’t reproducing itself. The church will have no choice but to face reality. That’s why you have the Southern Baptist news regarding the reversal of female ordination this morning.
@CNN They have no choice.
1st it’s biblical. You can’t “trend” religion.
It’s yesterday/today/forever.
2nd: the entire church has lost men.
Praise GOD.
You can look at the violent crime rates amongst black youth and literally everyone points to rampant fatherlessness. But we've been forking Federal welfare money over to single black mothers for decades and encouraging making more fatherless children. We're now seeing the same thing amongst single white mothers. When divorce is easy, when Federal money is easy, you incentivize the very violence you get.
