I think kids out here have mastered picking on Phaneroo because it’s then, that they will get wild engagements and earn Elons money! That’s just the span of their “creativity” and it’s totally outrageous!!
May it yield to nothing for you, in Jesus’s name.
Been going to my current church for about 8 years and my contact list is full of church people. They’re business partners, friends, family, etc.
It only takes intention, not presence.
Some guy tackled me at the turf today. Got off the pitch limping and I got my phone to report him to Beautiful Madam.
She said she's going to come for him next time the team is playing. What a babe! 😭🤩
Ateh she does gym and lifts weights. Oyo guy ajja kiwulira 😂
The current “dare” on pastors is merely a masking on “rendering the church” as a mere puppet and of no significance.
No Christian should be “celebrating it”.
While you do, you’re basically putting the same God you believe in a blanket of “Powerless”: He hates it!
As a Christian leader, I have so far learned that emotionally immature people often experience accountability as an attack; because responsibility threatens the story they need to believe about themselves. 1/n
Mpozi where’s the part of overspeeding?
Also, as a good driver, you’re supposed to take calculated risks and only overtake when you see a clear way. It’s the onus of the person overtaking to ensure they have enough room to get back into the lane, not based on the mercy of drivers
There’s a balance that has to be stricken here.
In 1st Cor 7:12-16 Apostle Paul quite captures an almost similar context.
God detests divorce. While one is in Islam, it’s their acceptable custom to be joined to max 4 wives, which isn’t the case in Christianity.
Now, principle…
To the guy who can afford to put aside 100m in a lump sum occasionally; it will preserve it against being eroded by inflation and negative movements in the economy such as depreciation of the Ugx or dollar, and will also give you a rate far better than you’d get on an FD

To the guy who just wants his money to rest there while they gather capital to fund their dream; the unit trust has the solution for you because you’re sure your money is safe and available for when you get to your targeted amount.
In all, choose Old mutual when that time comes
Unit trusts benefit each one at their level.
-> To the guy who can only afford to put aside 100k monthly, it will teach you the discipline to put away, for the future; whilst getting your little interest that subsequently becomes a big deal overtime.

I have just recalled an incident that befell me in the month of March. It's a very sad memory that had skipped my mind until the house-help brought it up.
It was an early Sunday morning and I was craving fried cassava. It had only been a few weeks since I had last had it but the craving at the time was so strong.
Luckily, the lady that sold it was within the neighbourhood. I wanted it tender and salty, with avocado on the side.
My wallet wasn't a hindrance and only time wasn’t on my side. That was about the time that I had decided to settle for a strict diet after I outsourced the services of a dietician and a fitness instructor.
“A few pieces of cassava aren't forbidden,” I thought.
“I will have avocado slices and a cup of bushera,” I further convinced myself.
Now, there I was, dressed in my kaftan; slipped my feet quickly into my slippers and dragged myself to the door. Hubby was getting dressed for Church as usual and I had no intentions of interrupting his plans by telling him about my craving for cassava before leaving home for service.
All he heard was the door and gate close as I watched him peep through the open curtains with a soft smile and confused countenance, perhaps wondering what I was up to.
I reached the lady’s stall and without any hesitation, I made my request known.
“Gyebaleko nyabo. Njagala yo muwogo wa lukumi.”
‘Kale nyabo, naye sirina change oyo,’ she answered in disappointment.
It was already 7:50 A.M., how couldn't she have the change by that time yet her stall is always busy and her items sold off by midday. She had to find a way. I could too but I wasn't willing to step away lest I return to a queue and, ‘Ogenda kulinda ko kw’ono gwentaddemu.’
As quick witted as I am, I suggested what I thought would solve this conundrum.
“Kale, siba wa lukumi, oja kummanja.”
‘Nedda mukwano, nze sirina muwogo wa bbanja,’ she quickly retorted.
“Kale kwata sente, nze balance ngenda kumunona.”
‘Aa ah, sisigaza sente za muntu. Oyagala kumbazisa buubi business mukwano?’
Seeing the back and forth was taking us nowhere and me running out of patience, I made the last suggestion, this time with the hope that she would see me off with the cassava in my hands.
“Omanyi, kale balance gwe musigaze. Nja kujja ompe nga mu muwogo paka bwezigwayo.”
Like a young girl kissed on the cheek by her lover, I saw her blush. Suddenly, her tone and urgency changed.
Very quickly, she packed my cassava and added a big avocado and we both agreed on the arrangements to have my future orders met with the money I had left her.
A week later, I showed up but she hadn't worked. I had no craving that time. All I was doing was chase after my money. I was now forced to eat cassava without craving it.
The next day, I sent my house-help over to go get cassava.
She walked in with empty hands and in her calm voice said, ‘Aunt, oyo omukyala teyakoze leero.’
That's when my fears grew and hubby turned to me and said, ‘Didn’t KCCA chase those people from the road side? What if she was chased?’
That lady went with my balance of forty nine thousand shilling. I handed her a 50k note and to this day, she has never showed up.
I canceled a date because I wasn’t feeling great.
I told him the truth. My period had started, I was exhausted, and I was in one of those moods where even putting on jeans felt unreasonable.
I assumed we’d just reschedule.
Instead, he asked if he could stop by for a minute. I said yes.
A little while later he showed up at my door with ice cream and chocolate.
He handed me the bag, gave me a hug, said he hoped I felt better soon, and then left.
That was it.
No expectation that I entertain him. No attempt to turn it into a shortened date. No “well, I’m already here, so can I come in?” He just wanted to........
