The night king was created because of fear of something that eventually happened.
There is only one reason the children of the forest who were thousands in number before the first men arrived westeros were reduced to just 6 in number and eventually went extinct.
This same reason is why the night king was created by the children of the forest and I have seen a lot of explanations but to understand why the Children of the Forest created the Night King, you have to go back to why and how the First Men came to Westeros in the first place.

Demas Nwoko built his own home, by hand, into one of the most climate-intelligent residences in West Africa. This is how.
The Demas Nwoko residence sits in Idumuje-Ugboko, Delta State, built in 1978. Nwoko laid every brick, carved every piece of wood, fired every ceramic himself. No contractor, no outside labor. The exterior is laticrete, a material he invented by mixing local laterite soil with ten percent cement, after colonial-era laws banned raw laterite construction. He didn't abandon the material. He adapted it until it was legal again.
At the center of the house is an impluvium, a funnel that channels rainwater from the roof straight into an indoor courtyard. During storms, water falls softly into that space while the rest of the house stays dry and calm. Nwoko has described sitting under it as a child, watching rain fall indoors while chaos moved outside. That single detail defines his entire philosophy: "Architecture was about geography. You have no business replicating the architecture of one geography in another."
The roofline nods to the Oba's Palace in Benin City. The pitched overhang echoes homes across southeastern Nigeria. Natural light stays low on purpose, giving the whole house a cocoon-like stillness. Nothing here was borrowed from outside this climate. Everything was borrowed from the ground it stands on.
This house has barely changed since 1978. No renovations chasing trends, no retrofits to look modern. It didn't need them.
Nwoko is 90 now, still working, still teaching the same lesson nobody picked up fast enough: a building is not viable if it ignores where it stands. Young Nigerian architects don't need to copy this house brick for brick. They need to sample the thinking behind it, the way a producer samples a record, and build their own version of this same philosophy.
Idumuje-Ugboko, Delta State, Nigeria. Architect: Demas Nwoko. Completed 1978.
Come here and laugh at "tOmaTo fActOry gUy" if you dare.
First you laughed, now he's shut you up, then you go back and look at your stupid, small self in the mirror and realise you need to clean your room.
Ibrahim Traoré is not your mate!
Years ago a pregnant lady jumps in my Uber. Panicking, yelling GO GO! I noticed we were gong to the hospital. She’s yelling I’m in labor. You need to HURRY! I’m like oh crap! We were about 8 mins away. But I turned my flashers on and stepped on it. She’s said Nevermind, pull over.
There’s not enough time. I immediately called 911. And put the front seats all the way forward...
