@HollyMila Tristan (and his accent) are South African, and the new Ethan actor is actually British (but doing a passable American accent for some reason, even though he's Holly's son, raised abroad). I honestly don't understand any of it.

@DeAnnaLouWells What's crazy is the actor has a British accent and is 100% more interesting with it. Why they thought Brit Holly's international rake of a son had to go from Aussie to generic no-accent American (when the actor himself is a Brit) is beyond me. (Would still be a Cody clone, tho)

@odyssey_the Just saw an interview with the new actor. He has a sexy Brit accent in real life. Why would they tell him to do a bland American Ken doll accent when they could at least make Holly Sutton's son a rakish Brit instead? It wouldn't fix the Cody/Joe clone problem, but it would help!

@joerugola @RenardReads I factored that in automatically. The new one is still roughly 25% more expensive than it would/should be, if adjusted for inflation. When something is 25% higher, that's enough for it to feel mercenary.
