If you thought Tik Tok was a manipulative, you ain’t seen nothing like a free, open source Chinese AI model designed to influence what Americans think.

The HUGE point people miss about the AI wars between our foundational models and those from China, is that if it’s perceived their models are better, and cheaper, China will open source theirs. Our companies, and global developers, will use them for most everything.

At that point, not only will China have won the AI tech war, they will have a trojan horse to influence how we all think

Chinas economy has been crashing for two years… their government attempted to save it by buying Chinese stock and stimulus but all it did was cause massive inflation and now their markets are continuing to crash due to the inflated cost of living. Meanwhile, there’s a huge effort to bring manufacturing back to America. Agreed that we did ship out manufacturing over the past 15 years but there are major plans that are already underway to bring it back. Expect US manufacturing to rise over the next 5 years

@TradetroniX Hard to say without understanding the strategy. If it’s zscore based the you could short the lower quintiles, if not then you could try to capture the opposite of the factor you are going long by adding negative factors. Many other ways to skin the cat
