postponing elections will benefits the Tories, keeping control of the Shires. I agree it's not ideal as many counties are a mess.

I think this is the first election that they are represented on committees more than their popular vote percentage. They worked damned hard to make it happen for a long time. At the end of the day it's seats not votes.

Try 25% of the vote back in the 80s for a mere 23 seats. Yes more than the Tories this time around for roughly 1/5 of the seats.

This, hot on the heels of our first ever tournament held on Saturday.

Am missing something? Labours latest advert says it will freeze council tax by having a proper windfall tax. Just how many things will their windfall tax cover? I like the idea but it can't be used to pay for everything.
