I never understood why moms complained about not having time for themselves.
There are 24 hours in a day, surely you can find 30 minutes to do your makeup, work out, read a book or just drink your coffee in peace.

I hate work. Like, I HATE work.

I’m not lazy. I work, I show up, and I handle my shit. I just hate the cycle of working 5 days straight for 2 days of “freedom” that I’m too exhausted to enjoy.

Saturday is recovery. Sunday is worrying about Monday. Then Monday comes and we do it all over again.

Does anyone else think it’s insane that we spend 8–9 hours at work, get home with maybe 4 hours to ourselves, and most of that is spent cooking, cleaning, and getting ready for the next day? This can’t be what life is supposed to be.
