I love that I get to watch our cohorts come in as young, confused, motivated, nervous “babies,” and then by the time they leave they’re strong, dedicated, mature, and confident young adults.

#NHS is pushing the #ShowYourTeachersSomeLove initiative. If you ask most teachers they’ll say that this school year has been really tough & is taking a completely different level of energy and compassion.South is lucky to have some students who notice& appreciate their teachers.

On Friday the 9th Grade English team hosted it’s 3rd Annual Poetry Slam. It was awesome and wonderful, emotional and heart warming. I loved it. Thanks to Kristen Kelly for starting this tradition, and to 9th Grade Team for carrying it on and making it stronger each year!
