so is it a rule that you have to like women before your consciousness is sucked into the digital circus or was it just a coincidence that everyone in there is a girlkisser
words cannot even describe how much my life improved after befriending a bunch of lesbians irl. like genuinely cannot stress enough how crucial it is to having a happy, healthy life as a lesbian.
On Threads they’re debating whether using big words is ableist. I’m sick of this anti-intellectualism masquerading as social justice. People are making excuses to avoid having to do anything hard, but at some point you have to grow up and read and learn and challenge yourself.
the best part of succession is that it never used flashbacks tbh. a whole show about familial trauma and abuse was weaved into the way everyone interacted with one another, that specific kind of pain you can only pick up on based on how siblings fight and share stories
i find jax tragic in the sense that she wouldve been a completely different person had leeroy gotten her brain scanned at a much different point in her life
the fact it happened during such a traumatic moment means jax was essentially doomed from the start
Imagine being one of the longest survivors after watching all your friends die and this problematic woman with identity issues makes u swear to never speak of one of the most traumatic experiences of your life, goes on to become closer with other people and then she kills herself
props to Gooseworx I think it takes a lot of guts as a trans woman to make a character that’s an amalgamation of your worst thoughts and tendencies pre transition only to have the internet pretty unanimously agree that guy needs to be killed with hammers
Makes me wish that "Knights of Guinevere" will keep up with the theme songs, like it did in the trailers
The cute music with the crazy visuals is so fun 💙
