Unknown Terrain, is a series of mostly-visual books or field notes: a set of epistemic artifacts generated to model concepts for terrain-mapping interfaces.

Listening to the history of Maradona, I could not help but be reminded of American Phil Ochs. Few know his story. But it is worth remembering in light of world changes. The
post on him on NFOLD is from 2016.
Similar details to the attack on Ortiz. Here we’ll known folk singer, Ochs, was attacked. He later died after he showed he would not stop resisting. His weaknesses were used against him. Common methods…

Scott also comments on the MOU with Iran, (as a former Marine, with a history in the ME). Additionally, he gave a lecture to young soldiers in Russia. He said, those who fought in war, come back wounded. Always. He has heart. Listen…
🧵 One of the most unique responses to the current Wars, the US is involved in…Scott went to Russia and the Donbass in the Ukraine, and was almost killed by a Drone. He discusses @elonmusk and Google in relation to this event. He says Starlink must change… Link in comment.
Israel is pursuing “a deliberate strategy to destroy the future of the Palestinians in Gaza by targeting their children.”
The UN’s highest investigative body concluded today that an aspect of Israel’s genocide involves “deliberately shooting children in vital organs using precision weapons”
And arresting, torturing, and subjecting Palestinian children to sexual violence in detention.
@TVFreePalestine@georgegalloway 🖕🖕per the interview on June 21. @TarikCyrilAmar 🖕🖕unsure if you know scientist Eric Weinstein from MIT, who I am replying to. As he is mentioning something which I understand from my time on the faculty at CMU.
If one has been considering the current war/s in the ME, the MOU, and the difference between those interests in the Axis of R in Lebanon, v those of the Occupiers, then perhaps consider the social acts (the Dialog parties of Mr Thiel) to which I reply. 🧵
@ericweinstein There are social engagements in these spheres that have impacted all classes around the world in the past 35 years. Christine Maxwell, married to Roger Malina, (MIT) and her engagement at the Sante Fe Institute (SFI). This brought Epstein’s influence on sci/eng to MIT and CMU.
🧵One other thought..drones are data devices with benefits in asymmetric warfare. But are their benefits also keys to the gates of data post-humanism, benefiting those who are dedicated to it? How to stay human absorbed in a field of data which intends to absorb the human?
🧵 And if so considered… perhaps go further when trying to understand how the Sovereign Network States might benefit the occupiers over the Axis. Writer, former Attorney, artist, James Tunney, sees this path. Now offering (click listen) even more detail: https://t.co/kKS94ZPYt7

Arp 240: A Cosmic Bridge Between Two Spiral Galaxies Look at this breathtaking Hubble view — two majestic spiral galaxies locked in a gravitational dance, connected by a glowing ribbon of stars and gas stretching between them like a celestial highway. This stunning pair, known together as Arp 240 (NGC 5257 and NGC 5258), tells an epic story of a close encounter. About 250 million years ago, these immense star cities passed dangerously near each other. Their mutual gravity unleashed violent tidal forces that ripped material loose and created this rare bridge. The interaction didn’t just stretch matter — it compressed gas clouds, triggering bursts of new star formation across both galaxies and along the bridge itself.
Galactic mergers like this are common across the universe, and Arp 240 gives us a perfect snapshot of one dramatic chapter in that inevitable process. Located roughly 300 million light-years away in the constellation Virgo, this pair is visible with a small telescope — a reminder that even on cosmic scales, gravity is the ultimate matchmaker. Over repeated close passes, these two will eventually merge completely, birthing a single, larger galaxy. What a spectacular chapter in the universe’s ongoing story of creation and transformation! This is a powerful thesis on the motives behind the war in the ME. It is closer to revealing the truth, and explaining the odd behavior than any other. Although it does not consider the “Sovereign Network States” emerging in vassal states, I.e. Theil/Argentina.
🚨 THE U.S.-IRAN MEMORANDUM MAY BE A PAUSE — NOT PEACE 🚨
The memorandum of understanding between the United States and Iran is unlikely to end the conflict permanently.
Because the war against Iran was never only about nuclear policy or regional security. It was about reshaping Iran itself: weakening it, fragmenting it, gaining leverage over its energy resources, and ultimately controlling the Strait of Hormuz.
Had that project succeeded, Israel would have emerged with enormous military, political, and economic leverage across West Asia.
Every country hesitant to join the Abraham Accords would have faced growing pressure to enter an Israeli-led regional order.
That is why I see this as a high-stakes, zero-sum struggle for the Israeli Zionist establishment.
A memorandum can pause open warfare, but it cannot erase Israeli strategic ambitions, intelligence operations, psychological warfare, and regional competition that produced the conflict in the first place.
I do not believe Iran is naive about this either.
The war has shown that Tehran plans for worst-case scenarios, and I expect Iranian officials to assume that another phase of confrontation remains possible, potentially after the U.S. midterm elections, depending on political developments in Washington.
For now, the conflict may be on the shelf, but it is not over.
OFFICIAL UPDATE ON IRAN - U.S. Talks in Switzerland
🇮🇷 Iran's Delegation Spokesman CONFIRMS: U.S. THREATS Blew Up The Talks
Iran walked out of the quadrilateral meeting after Washington dropped threats mid-session. Qatar and Pakistan tried to keep it alive. Iran refused to continue in that format.
The spokesperson laid out what was on the table:
1. The war on all fronts, INCLUDING Lebanon, must end.
2. Permits for Iranian oil sales and the release of Iran's blocked assets, with good progress made.
3. A mechanism for the safe passage of ships through the Strait of Hormuz.
Iran's delegation says the other side must be held accountable for its commitments, naming the continued ceasefire violations by the Zionist regime.
Iran walked out of the QUADRILATERAL FORMAT, not the talks themselves. The technical track and mediator-led negotiations continue tomorrow.
Qatar and Pakistan will issue a text covering the agreements reached over 18 hours of talks. Under clause 13, the oil license and asset release must happen before final-agreement negotiations begin. Clause 12 sets up a mechanism to monitor both parties.
18 hours at the table, and the side that walked in threatening is the side that broke it.
I was unaware of the cause of Palestinian leader Arafat’s death in 2004. It was the same as Alexander Litvinenko’s. The difference is that Litvinenko’s polonium poisoning was extensively investigated whereas Arafat’s remains unresolved and disputed.
