Después de más de 1 año, 374 días, hoy 16 de enero de 2026, pude ver a mi esposo, Rafael Tudares Bracho, por aproximadamente 25 minutos. Nuestro primer contacto y conversación desde el 7 de enero de 2024.

Fui notificada a la medianoche de ayer jueves 15 de enero, por funcionarios del Rodeo I (SESMAS), que Rafael está, en efecto, en ese centro de detención. Así, finalmente, me lo reconocieron hoy.

Rafael está, como tantas veces he denunciado, en una grave situación de detención arbitraria.

No obstante ello, pude verificar, finalmente, que está con vida, a Dios gracias. Ha resistido, a pesar de todo.

Fue un momento muy duro el que viví hoy. Nos vimos y pudimos charlar en esos escasos 25 minutos, divididos por un vidrio blindado. Fueron muchas emociones que todavía estoy procesando.

Luego de tanto tiempo sin información, ese instante fue un alivio y, al mismo tiempo, un recordatorio doloroso: nadie que esté preso injustamente y en situación de desaparición forzada, puede estar bien.

Observé a Rafael bastante afectado física y emocionalmente.

La incomunicación y la separación de sus hijos, no son condiciones humanas para ninguna persona, sea quien sea.

Mi esposo es inocente. No ha cometido delito alguno.

Con el corazón en la mano y lágrimas que todavía no puedo contener, pido que lo devuelvan a su casa. No lo solicito desde la política ni desde el conflicto: lo pido como esposa y madre, desde mi anhelo más auténtico por paz y libertad. Rafael necesita salir de la terrible situación a la que está siendo sometido.
Basta ya de tanto ensañamiento contra él.

Solo pido humanidad, justicia, dignidad y respeto por sus derechos humanos.

Que este encuentro que tuvimos hoy, no sea solo una fe de vida, una visita, sea también, Dios mediante, un paso más hacia su libertad y hacia la reunificación de nuestra familia.
